King Countys Business Resource Center (BRC) Training Team has an opening for a creative training professional to develop and deliver engaging technical training content in a variety of mediums.
We are looking for a techsavvy trainer who enjoys flexing their creative muscles to make technical educational content engaging and helpful for our customers. Our ideal candidate will enjoy collaborating with team members and have great customer service skills. They will also have a passion for helping employees learn how to be more efficient by optimizing their use of our business systems and are always seeking to educate and help customers adapt to ongoing application changes. Our ideal candidate will be a motivated selfstarter who isnt afraid to ask for help or recommend training process improvements.
Who We Are and What We Do:The BRC supports maintains and optimizes King Countys enterprise HR and payroll system (PeopleSoft) as well as the finance procurement (EBS) and business intelligence (BI) applications. These enterprise business applications are used countywide to perform essential business processes.
The BRC Training Team works closely with teams across the division to support training activities for system upgrades and projects that implement changes to business processes system functionality and implement new Oracle products. We work with project teams and subject matter experts to assess changes impacting existing training content and work to define and organize content to be included in new or updated educational offerings. We provide change management and communication support to the user communities for major systems changes.
