Service Controls Engineer
Anoka MN Direct Hire$75000 $130000 (Based on Experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Controls Service Engineer with a Customerfocused mindset to design electrical upgrades for custom webconverting machinery. This role involves schematic design programming and troubleshooting software within the service department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop control systems instruments and automation solutions including PLC and HMI programming from a service perspective.
- Assist customers by providing support and responding to inquiries during the manufacturing construction installation and operational testing phases.
- Maintain and repair equipment and systems onsite ensuring smooth operations in field installations.
- Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in electrical engineering technology.
- Provide ongoing support to meet the daily service needs of the team.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Systems Engineering or Controls Engineering.
- Experience with PLC programming particularly with Yaskawa and Allen Bradley platforms is desirable.
- Knowledge of servo motion control programming.
- Proficiency in HMI development using Visual Basic.
- Experience with VisionCognex systems is a plus.
- Competence in AutoCAD Electrical for system design.
