Department: Trades and Engineering
Reports To: Associate Dean
LOCATION: Green Bay
SCHEDULE: Approximately 310 hours per week between the hours of MondayThursday 8am8pm Friday 8am3pm and Saturday 8am1pm. Scheduled to be determined at the time of hire based upon availability and needs. Flexibility required to include other evening and/or weekend hours as necessary.
MINIMUM STARTING RATE OF PAY: $20.00/hour
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting the full time and adjunct faculty in the Tech Hall and Mech Hall by answering questions from students signing off on student labs and administering exams. These Alumni Tech Hall Aides will leverage their academic backgrounds having graduated from the Electrical Engineering Technology program the ElectroMechanical Technology program or the Automation Engineering program. Unlike the adjuncts who support the Tech Hall these Alumni Tech Hall Aides will not be required to have five or more years of work experience. These Alumni Tech Hall Aides will also be paid by the hour and will not be responsible to grading/owning for any of the video sections Tech Hall classes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Coach students on course material in conjunction with the faculty lead.
Sign off on lab activities and administer exams.
Support independent lab work in the Tech and Mech Hall.
Participate in department recruitment activities by sharing their experience as a student on campus and in the community.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology ElectroMechanical Technology Biomedical Electronics or Automation Technology
Recent graduate of the programs above.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Mobility: Ability to move around the campus to attend meetings and events. In addition must be able to work in on around over and under fixed equipment and machinery. May be required to work from lifts ladders and scaffolding.
Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using hands and fingers to handle or operate office equipment tools controls and/or heavy equipment and machinery. Capability to push pull and/or maneuver equipment as needed.
PPE: To wear and work in personnel protective equipment as needed.
Heavy Lifting: Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Visual and Auditory: Ability to read documents and communicate effectively with students and staff.
