Job Description
Job Requirements
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Current AHA BLS required; ACLS within 60 days of hire. Specialty certification preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum three years in healthcare management or related field required. Minimum of five years of clinical experience in ICU/CCU; will consider other applicable clinical areas in lieu of direct ICU/CCU experience.
Required Licenses
North Carolina United States Registered Nurse Current NC nursing license.
Directs activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission values and objectives of the organization. Participates in the strategic plans of the organization by assisting in the development of specific objectives and achieving plan goals. Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer the Senior Nursing Officer develops implements leads and evaluates all aspects of management and ensures the provision of quality patient /family centered care for the MedicalSurgical Telemetry Intensive Care and Intermediate Care Units.
