Austal(ASX: ASB) is Australias global shipbuilder Defence prime contractor and maritime technology partner of choice; designing constructing and supporting defence and commercial vessels for the worlds leading operators. The company operates shipbuilding and sustainment facilities in Australia the USA Philippines and Vietnam. Austal Australia is delivering multiple naval shipbuilding and sustainment programs for the Royal Australian Navy Australian Border Force and the Department of Defence employing approximately 1000 people in facilities in located Western Australia Queensland and the Northern Territory.
The opportunity:
A key focus for the Planning & Scheduling Manager is to ensure schedules are defensible utilised and accurate. The ability to lead a team of schedulers across multiple programs as well as develop and drive best practice in schedule governance and adherence across the delivery community are paramount to the success of this role.

Due to the Security Clearance required for this position applicants must be an Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain and uphold a Baseline Security Clearance through the Australian Department of Defence.
