Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as a Server/Bartender at Beachcombers Tiki Hut at the Ramada Plaza in Devil Hills North Carolina. This is a fulltime individual contributor summer role within our fastpaced hospitality and restaurant environment. As a Server/Bartender you will have the opportunity to provide excellent customer service while showcasing your bar tending and serving skills. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and a desire to work in a dynamic and teamoriented environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $5 to $8 per hour paid biweekly. In addition to this competitive salary we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical dental and vision insurance as well as paid time off and opportunities for career growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
Take and process food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages in adherence to safety and legal regulations
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and behavior and take necessary steps to prevent overconsumption
Ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of the bar area tables and restaurant as a whole
Continuously engage with guests to ensure their satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food to guests
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu offerings and daily specials
Assist in restocking and inventory management of bar supplies
Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards and practices
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a bar tending and/or serving role preferred
Extensive knowledge of beverage and cocktail preparation techniques
Ability to stand walk and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods of time
Excellent communication customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
Basic math and cash handling skills
Must be at least 21 years of age
Candidate must have reliable transportation to and from work
