JOB TITLE:In School Suspension Facilitator

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma;

  • Two years of college or an Associates Degree;

  • working knowledge of computer software;

  • good communications skills;

  • good organizational skills;

  • positive interpersonal skills

REPORTS TO:Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Required teacher days.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Prmotes direct supervision of students at all times

  • Ensures engagement and completion of teachr assigned claswork and homework
  • Ensures timeontask
  • Operates and cares for equioment used in the classroom fir instructional purposes
  • Distributes and collects workbooks papers and other materials for instruction
  • Checks and records student attendance
  • Monitors and communicates students progress towards academic and behavioral goals
  • Ensures that students are assigned work
  • Requests teacher assistance with work when needed

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher
  2. Helps students with assignments
  3. Helps students master equipment or instructional materials assigned by the teacher
