Job Description
Minimum Education
Graduate from an Accredited Program in one or more medical imaging modalities as described below.
Minimum Work Experience
Preferred 1 years of experience as a registered technologist in the appropriate modality
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

X Certified/licensed in good standing with appropriate professional registry

MRI: Must be ARRT Or become ARRT MRI Registered within 12 mos. of hire)
The MRI Technologist performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The MRI Technologist operates specialized equipment (MRI scanner) to create crosssectional image scans of patients to help doctors diagnose and treat illness or disease. The MRI Technologist interacts directly with patients and may administer intravenous injections of contract dyes.

The Fauquier Health system offers patient care for a variety of specialty services including Orthopedics and Spine a Cardiac Catheterization Lab and roboticassisted surgery. The fourth floor of the hospital is devoted to our Family Birthing Center and Intermediate Care Nursery.
