Kentro is hiring for an IT Analyst to support the National GeospatialIntelligence Agency. Prioritize user requirements initiate and oversee system upgrades evaluate existing and research new tools. Work with management to make recommendations and identify the goals necessary to improve customer productivity security and output. Set up and configure various servers and workstations. Support and manage cloudbased services. Troubleshoot and fix computer problems. Conduct and maintain IT test environments. Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions for end users and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize user requirements initiate and oversee system upgrades evaluate existing and research new tools.
- Work with management to make recommendations and identify the goals necessary to improve customer productivity security and output.
- Set up and configure various servers and workstations.
- Support and manage cloudbased services. Troubleshoot and fix computer problems.
- Design analyze and implement efficient IT systems within clear environments.
- Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions for end users and customers.
- Understand business and technology needs. Leverage technical solutions to meet organizational needs. Implement functional and costefficient IT systems.
- Gather feedback from end users about system performance.
- Develop and analyze functional specifications.
- Plan and oversee projects (e.g. upgrades hardware/software installations).
- Coordinate developers to build and implement technology solutions.
- Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams.
Requirements
810 years experience in the following technical and soft skills:
Technical Skills & Experience:
- System Administration Experience in setting up configuring and managing servers and workstations.
- Cloud Computing Proficiency in supporting and managing cloudbased services.
- IT Troubleshooting Strong ability to diagnose and resolve computer hardware software and network issues.
- System Integration Experience in integrating multiple IT systems and aligning them with business needs.
- Project Management Ability to plan oversee and execute IT projects such as system upgrades and software installations.
- Business Analysis Understanding of business and technology needs to align IT solutions with organizational goals.
- Functional Specifications Ability to develop and analyze IT functional requirements and specifications.
- Security Awareness Knowledge of security best practices and compliance measures in IT environments.
Soft Skills & Other Requirements:
- Communication & Collaboration Ability to work with management developers and end users to improve IT systems.
- Training & Documentation Experience in preparing training materials and conducting training sessions for users.
- ProblemSolving Strong analytical skills to evaluate existing tools and research new solutions.
- UserCentered Approach Ability to gather feedback and continuously improve system performance.
- Cost Efficiency Experience in implementing functional and costeffective IT solutions.
Clearance: Active DoD TS/SCI with ability to take and pass CI Polygraph
