Job Description

We are currently looking for a qualified Route Sale Representative for this location. As an integral part of our Interstate Battery distributorship the Route Sale Representative is driven by purpose and results. He or she will act every day to make a positive contribution to the business the customers the community and his or her team.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver batteries and provide service to each deal on your route in a timely manner
  • Establish build and maintain good dealer relationships
  • Complete documentation daily
  • Maintain routes by keeping displays clean and information up to date
  • Correctly invoice all units that fail to last warranty period
  • Rotate batteries to maintain quality product and set service standards
  • Collect and handle payments
  • Collect and return junk and/or used batteries
  • Load and unload truck daily
  • Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies

What you will bring:

  • Must possess current DOT Medical Certification
  • Clean driving record
  • Class B CDL required Class A CDL preferred
  • Prior driving and customer service experience highly desirable
  • Good communications skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to read write and compute basic math
