Job Description
Job Title: Kafka Developer
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Kafka Developer to join our dynamic IT department. The successful candidate will have 13 years of experience in developing and maintaining Kafkabased applications. As a Kafka Developer you will be responsible for designing implementing and supporting realtime data streaming solutions using Kafka. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Must have hands on experiance working on kafka connect using schema registry in Hadoop Environment.
Worked with JDBC connectors and APIs.
Worked in kafka topicskafka brokers zookeepers and kafka control centers.
Worked in AvroConverters or parquetConvertersJsonConverters.
Worked in Debezium source/sink connectors with CDC implementation.
Worked in producer API custom logics also consumer API complex transformation
Worked in setting optimal configuration for topics producerconsumerconnectstream and admin.
Worked on distributed computing parallel processing and largescale data managment
Worked with kafka with databases. Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
Design develop and maintain Kafkabased applications and data streaming solutions.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
Develop and implement efficient and scalable Kafkabased solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka infrastructure ensuring high availability and performance.
Monitor and optimize Kafka clusters for optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment and monitoring processes.
Develop and maintain documentation related to Kafka infrastructure and applications.
Stay uptodate with the latest Kafka features tools and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
13 years of experience in developing and maintaining Kafkabased applications.
Strong knowledge of Kafka architecture and internals.
Proficient in programming languages such as Java Python or Scala.
Experience with Kafka Connect Kafka Streams and Kafka Schema Registry.
Handson experience with Kafka administration including cluster setup configuration and monitoring.
Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
