Job Description
Lighthouse Lab Services has partnered with the premier health system in South Carolina. We are looking for several talented histotechnologists to be a part of their growing team on the Charleston campus. Hourly Rate: $31$40/hr Depending on Experience

Position Overview:
Under direct supervision the histotechnologist performs routine and complex histologic procedures in accordance with established procedures. Performs grossing processing embedding microtomy routine and special stains immunohistochemistry and frozen sectioning on human tissue to produce microscopic slides submitted for pathologists review. Performs quality control on completed slides. Identifies problems that may affect diagnosis and results. Records observations from tests. Documents maintenance of instruments and equipment used in the lab. Complies with established laboratory policies for universal precautions and safety.
Candidate Profile:
- B.S. in Biology Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Completion of accredited Histology program
- HTL (ASCP)
- 1 years of experience as a Histotechnologist preferred
