In this role you will be responsible for planning developing and coordinating project schedules. Youll track issues analyze data and provide critical reports to stakeholders and clients. Essential Responsibilities
- Create integrated schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project for various project phases
- Ensure schedules are vetted by Superintendents subtrades or the internal Production Rates database and adhere to company best practices
- Develop critical path method (CPM) baseline schedules
- Prepare preliminary master schedules before project start to ensure they are realistic and competitive
- Participate in project planning during pursuits and respond to RFPs including reading and analyzing contractual requirements drawings and specifications
- Incorporate resource and cost data into schedules and update progress throughout project
- Track unplanned events assess their impacts and update schedules accordingly
- Provide TimeImpactAnalysis (TIA) schedules asbuilt vs. asplanned schedules and microwork schedules as needed
- Work with project controls managers project managers and teams to define project plans and schedules
- Maintain master schedules and provide narratives for changes from the baseline
- Develop and maintain databases for construction productivity rates procurement durations lead times and project risk items
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in a Planner Scheduler or similar role with experience managing complex ICI project schedules
- Industrial Commercial or Institutional construction sitebased experience is preferred
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management Estimating Engineering or related trade certifications
- Proficient in Primavera (P6 and Microsoft Project
- Strong understanding of construction strategies and CPM methodologies
Work Conditions
- Office based role with occasional travel to sites within the GTA and Ottawa
