Bachelors degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy and three 3 years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Licensed Pharmacist by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of pharmacy experience; at least 3 years of pharmacy leadership experience
Strong people management skills
Clear and effective communication skills and comfort engaging all levels within and outside of the organization
PGY1 from an ASHPaccredited residency program
Compensation:
Pay Range: $120445.00 $195725.00 / year

Job Description:
To lead direct and manage the activities and programs of the Department of Pharmacy. To ensure optimal clinical service. To manage human resource activities and financial targets. To act as a liaison with medical center committees and schools of pharmacy as appropriate. To promote and support research.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate a large staff of specialty pharmacy team members including clinic pharmacists and patient care coordinators.
Work with ambulatory leadership team members to ensure provision of cohesive and efficient patient care.
Develop and/or review performance metrics and clinical outcomes metrics; use this data to support workflow adjustments and recommendations.
Engage providers and pharmacy clinicians to assess patient engagement strategies and opportunities.
Develop and carry out policies procedures and standard operating procedures.
