We are in search of a Board Certified / Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our Hospital Medicine team at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington CT.We invite you to become part of Connecticuts most comprehensive healthcare network.
Charlotte Hungerford Hospital:
This is an opportunity to practice with an expanding hospitalist service at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Our hospital provides an incredible impact to the healthcare of Northwestern Connecticut. In the Hospitalist service we work to lessen waiting in the emergency room speed up diagnosis and treatments reduce hospital stays while improving outcomes and continuity of care. Hospitalists provide support for Primary Care Physicians and rapid response to all hospitalized patients. Provider census shared between day and night hospitalists is about 45 patients per day with 510 admissions per day and about 2 providers on schedule at any given moment. This is a closed Intensive Care Unit with specialty support.
Shift Details: 7 on / 7 off
