The Position
Job Title: Apprentice Voice Support Engineer
Apprenticeship Course:Level 3 Information Communication Technician
Apprenticeship Duration:13 months EPALocation: Manchester (Hybrid Role)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am5pm
Salary: 14000
Role and Responsibilities
Technical Support: Provide firstline technical support for voicerelated issues troubleshooting and resolving problems efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to services.
System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance monitoring and optimisation of voice infrastructure including PBX systems VoIP networks and related hardware and software.
Configuration and Setup: Support the configuration and setup of voice systems for new clients ensuring smooth implementation and integration with existing systems.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of voice network configurations changes and procedures.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs provide solutions and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Collaboration: Work closely with senior voice engineers and other technical teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Requirements
Desired Qualities Skills and Knowledge
Education: English and Maths GCSE Grade C or Equivalent and Above
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of voice technologies such as VoIP SIP PBX systems and related protocols.
ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and clients.
Willingness to Learn: Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and continuously improving technical skills.
