Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing BHS Corrugated machinery at customer sites. You will work closely with our customers to ensure optimal machine performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and commission BHS Corrugated machinery and equipment at customer locations.
Perform routine maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical components.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic issues in a timely manner.
Provide technical training and support to customers on machine operation and maintenance.
Read and interpret technical drawings schematics and manuals.
Document service work and communicate findings to the customer and internal teams.
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism while onsite.
Travel to customer sites as required
Qualifications & Skills:
Associate degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Maintenance or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role preferably in the corrugated (strongly suggested)or industrial machinery industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems hydraulics and pneumatics.
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to travel extensively as needed.
Valid drivers license and the ability to obtain necessary work permits for travel.
