We are currently seeking a Commercial Insurance Binding Underwriter. This position offers the opportunity to work in the Upper Midwest region particularly in Minnesota and Michigan. The ideal candidate will have experience in the E&S industry and a strong understanding of handling multiple appetites. This is a great opportunity for career switchers looking to transition into the underwriting field.
Responsibilities
- Quote new and renewal business
- Develop new business goals
- Serve as the first line of contact with agencies
- Collaborate with the team to share book and resources
Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in the insurance industry
- P&C license
- Familiarity with Dyad and Image Right software
- Wellspoken and able to build strong relationships
- Organized and committed to longterm fit within the company
Daytoday
The successful candidate will spend their time quoting new and renewal business developing new business goals and collaborating with the team to share resources and support.
