Job Description
Founded in 2009 CLO Virtual Fashion is creating a new ecosystem for digital fashion based on its unrivaled technology in 3D clothing simulation algorithms.
CLO Virtual Fashion provides all clothingrelated services from concept to design manufacturing marketing fitting and styling based on 3D clothing simulation algorithms.
Along with costume design software CLO Marvelous Designer and Jinny we are involved in the entire costume journey with platforms specialized in costume content such as CLOSET and CONNECT to build an efficient and sustainable workflow. Additionally our solution allows physical and digital garments to be tagged together to function within the CLO system.
CLO Virtual Fashion which is leading the global digital fashion market currently has a total of 13 offices in 11 countries around the world including Asia North America Europe and South America and is gradually expanding based on numerous customers from around the world.
Position Overview
We are looking for an attorney with sound legal and business judgement as well as eagerness to learn and collaborate who can thrive in our dynamic agile and userfocused culture.
Responsibilities
- Contract under pressure: Review negotiate draft and drive fast turnaround times on various agreements including commercial agreements but not limited to Software Licensing and Service Agreements SaaS/cloudbased service terms and policies NDAs DPAs in support of the EMEA sales professional services and alliances teams.
- CrossFunctional Partnership: Work closely with sales and security teams to ensure smooth and efficient deal and that agreements are consistent with internal corporate policies and processes (eg GDPR EU AI Act).
- Solving internal employment law matters working closely alongside HR.
- Process Efficiency & Innovation: Identify and implement legal process improvements to support rapid deal closure.
- Have Fun While Doing It: Work hard move fast and bring a positive solutionsdriven approach to challenging situations. Look after yourself your colleagues and the companys interests. Act with kindness and good humor.
Requirements
- Qualified German Law Degree (min. 1. State Exam).
- 13 years of postqualification experience in a law firm and/or inhouse.
- Excellent command of written and spoken German (native speaker) and English (fluent).Solid knowledge of German employment law.
- Familiar with and interested in technology (metaverse AI digital assets).Ability to coordinate prioritize and manage deadlines in a fastpaced rapidly evolving and demanding industry.
- Overseas legal education and/or work experience or experience as inhouse counsel of a global technology company preferred.
- Basic Knowledge of German tenancy law is highly welcomed.
- Additional language skills in French and/or Spanish are preferred.
- Highly adaptable and serviceoriented attitude.
- Ability to handle pressure and provide thoughtful recommendations.A cando attitude proactive autonomous resilient adaptable eager to continually learn and develop professionally with a collaborative and teamfirst mindset.
