Job Description

Partner Staffing is the goto recruiter for difficult important and time sensitive positions in Western Canada. We work with proactive clients who understand the importance of having exceptional staff.


Job Overview:
Partner Staffing on behalf of our Client are seeking an experienced and handson Construction Foreman with a strong background in commercial and civil construction specifically in concrete formwork and pouring. The Foreman will be responsible for supervising site operations managing crew activities ensuring safety compliance and delivering highquality results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of crews on concrete formwork and pouring tasks

  • Read and interpret blueprints project plans and specifications

  • Plan work schedules labor and materials to meet project deadlines

  • Ensure safety standards and protocols are strictly followed on site

  • Monitor quality control and address issues proactively

  • Reporting to the Superintendent for daily and weekly tasks and scheduling

  • Train mentor and manage crew members to ensure optimal performance

  • Track and report progress site conditions and incidents

  • Operate and oversee the use of tools and equipment necessary for concrete work



Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial and civil construction with a focus on concrete formwork and pouring
  • Journeyman or Red Seal Certificate in Carpentry
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience on job sites overseeing the concrete stages of the project
  • Strong knowledge of concrete forming systems (e.g. Peri Doka EFCO etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Excellent problemsolving and organizational skills
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
  • First Aid certifications considered an asset
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
