We are looking for a Physician to join our urgent care center group in Southampton PA.You will find a supportive and welcoming team to work alongside you within our fastmoving Urgent Care Center. The incoming provider will be required to see and treat a wide variety of health care issues in patients of all ages in our busy center. We are seeking a BCBE Family Practice or Emergency Medicine Physician. We will consider Internal Medicine if there is pediatric training/experience. Duties:
- Provide direct care to patients of the clinic (Office/urgent care visits and acute care visits)
- Evaluates and treats common acute conditions illnesses or minor trauma
- Performs inoffice minor procedures (small laceration repairs joint splinting closed reduction of small joints wound care I&D joint/trigger point injections Admin IM antibiotics/steroids and local analgesics)
- Orders and reviews diagnostic tests Xrays labs and bloodwork (UA Strep EKG Flu Drug screen Urine Pregnancy)
- Consistently and accurately documents all calls treatments medications etc. in patient chart
- Instructs and counsels patients regarding diagnosis and follow up steps
- Responds to all patient questions
- Supervise other medical providers (NPs/PAs)
- Participate in chart reviews as needed
- Oversee management of the lab
- Collaboration with the other physicians midlevel providers and support staff for comprehensive care
- MD or DO Board Certified in Emergency Medicine Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician only if there is pediatric training/experience
- Must be comfortable/able to see patients 2 weeks and up
- Active Medical License in PA
- Active DEA Registration preferred
- Valid ACLS & PALS certifications preferred
- At least 1 year experience preferred
- Should be comfortable/knowledgeable to perform basic urgent care procedures.
- Full time or part time
- Average 3 shifts per week 3236 hours) for FT.Mix of 12h and 10h shifts rotating schedule including weekends
- If PT schedule negotiable. Minimum 1 shift per week with at least 1 weekendshift coverage
- $135/hr
