Description
The Caseworkers role is to protect vulnerable children and atrisk adults by assessing reports of abuse neglect or mistreatment assessing safety and risk referring families to supports and services and ensuring children and atrisk adults are in safe and appropriate environments. Duties include intake screening assessment ongoing case management documentation working with the courts and referring families to appropriate supports and services.
Typical Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Services or related field required and one year of professional case management experience required after the degree in a public or private agency.
- Current caseworker certification in the Colorado Child Welfare System and or Colorado Adult Protection System is preferred.
- Spanish language skills preferred.
