Geisinger Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our skilled and collaborative team of critical care providers practicing stateoftheart medicine with support from excellent physicians and nursing staffJob Duties:
At a Glance:
- Work in a collegial team of extremely kind and welcoming providers
- Work 14 night shifts/month
- 12hour shifts from 7pm7am; biweekly nocturnal stipend
- Serve in a collaborative role with the physician and staff in assessing needs planning and providing education and care evaluating outcomes and coordinating followup and referrals for patients

Position Details:
GEISINGER MEDICAL CENTER (GMC) located in Danville PA the largest tertiary/quaternary care teaching hospital in the region is licensed for 475 beds including 89 pediatric beds in the Janet Weis Childrens Hospital. GMC a Magnet Hospital maintains the regions only Level 1 Regional Resource Trauma Center with additional qualifications in pediatrics. GMC offers an array of highly specialized medical and surgical services including neurosciences cardiovascular services transplantation womens health (in the Womens Pavilion) oncology and orthopaedics. The Hospital for Advanced Medicine serves as an integrated center for the most critical patients. Outpatient services are available on and off campus.
