Job Description
Braun Intertec Corporation is seeking an Environmental Engineer/Staff Scientist/Geoscientist to join our Kansas Investigation & Remediation Division in our Lenexa or Topeka Kansas offices. The preferred candidate should have between 03 years of professional work experience and hold at least a bachelors degree in geoscience environmental science/engineering or related field. The successful candidate will contribute to the firms success by:
- Conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) which will include interviewing property owners conducting Site assessments and reviewing/summarizing pertinent regulatory documents.
- Assisting with report writing and data tabulation including Phase I and II ESAs and other technical documents for submittal to clients and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct field work such as installing groundwater monitoring wells collecting soil groundwater and air samples and other field activities.
- Oversight of subcontractors in the field including drillers and remediation contractors.
- Collaborate and build relationships with other members of the firm vendors and assist clients with developing creative solutions for environmental problems.
- Building relationships with coworkers clients vendors and partners.
- Travel to local and regional project sites (up to 20 travel based on project needs).

Compensation Range:
