Mental Health Practitioner ARMHS
People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a fulltime Mental Health Practitioner I or II to join our Integrated ARMHS team. This team provides direct mental health services that are rehabilitative and enables the recipient to develop enhanced psychiatric stability social competencies personal and emotional adjustment community and independent living skills when these abilities are impaired by symptoms of mental illness.
People Incorporated Integrated ARMHS team provides Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services to individuals receiving services from People Incorporated Outpatient Mental Health Clinics Targeted Case Management teams and outreach teams. The Integrated ARMHS team additionally provides Transition to Community Living Services to individuals residing in People Incorporated IRTS programs. The ARMHS team emphasizes integrated care as part of our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) which is designed to ensure access to comprehensive behavioral health care.
Schedule: Fulltime Monday Friday Business Hours. Some remote work flexible schedule within daytime hours.
Location: Hennepin & Ramsey Counties
Hiring Range: $22.00$26.14/Hourly depending on qualifications. Not based on billable hours.
Hiring Bonus: External candidates eligible for $1000 hiring bonus.

Main Job Duties:
- Using personcentered principles actively engage clients in their mental health recovery and develop and maintain appropriate relationships that support the client in meeting their individual goals.
- Facilitate and conduct individual services that address a variety of needs and health concerns for the client. May facilitate and conduct group interventions if applicable.
- Provide collateral information for nursing assessments and conduct interviews and gather information to inform treatment planning planofcare reviews and discharge plans as needed or directed.
- Document interactions and interventions with clients according to program requirements into the organizations Electronic Health Record (EHR) and/or recordkeeping system.
- Provide crisis intervention and deescalation for clients experiencing mental health symptoms or other emotional and/or behavioral responses while prioritizing client and program safety.
- Participate in coordination of services through the recognition of the multiple needs of the client with other providers in the community in an effort to provide necessary resources to the client.

- Must have a valid and current drivers license and auto insurance if applicable.
Required Qualifications: Mental Health Practitioner I
- Has a high school diploma and 2000 hours (one year) of experience in the delivery of services to people with: Mental illness emotional disturbance or substance use disorder and receives clinical supervision from a mental health professional once a week until 4000 hours of experience is met.
OR
- Has a high school diploma and 4000 hours (two years) of experience in the delivery of services to people with
- Mental illness;OR
- Traumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities and completes training on mental illness mental health deescalation techniques cooccurring mental illness and substance abuse and psychotropic medications and side effec
OR
- Bachelors degree in a behavioral science or related field and proof of a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields.
OR
- Has completed 30 semester credits or 45 quarter credits in behavioral science or a related field and:
- Has proof of a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields; OR
- Has 2000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with Mental Illness DD ID or TBI
- Is fluent in the nonEnglish language of the cultural group to which 50 of the practitioners clients belong;
OR
- Masters degree in a behavioral science or related field;
Required Qualifications: Mental Health Practitioner II
- Bachelors degree in a behavioral science/related field and proof of 4000 hours of experience in the delivery of services to people with mental illness;
OR
- Masters Degree in behavioral science or related field
OR
- In lieu of a bachelors degree in a behavioral science/related field proof of 10000 hours of experience in the delivery of services to people with mental illness.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enrollment or has completed an accredited Masters program in a behavioral science or related field
- 2000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with mental illness
