Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Incorporate fundamental tennis techniques rules and strategies into lesson activities.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess the skill levels of campers and provide individualized instruction to help them improve their tennis abilities.
- Focus on developing basic and advanced tennis skills including proper grip footwork strokes and match strategies.
- Ensure a safe and organized tennis environment.
- Monitor the use and condition of tennis equipment reporting any issues and ensuring proper storage.
- Promote teamwork and sportsmanship among campers through collaborative activities drills and friendly competitions.
- Encourage a positive and supportive atmosphere where campers respect each other and their coaches.
- Be flexible and adaptable to accommodate campers with varying skill levels and learning styles.
- Adjust lesson plans as needed based on camper feedback and progress.
- Previous coaching experience especially in tennis preferred.
- Knowledge of tennis fundamentals rules and strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with campers of different ages and skill levels.
