COPC is the largest physicianowned Primary Care Group in the US. We are looking for a knowledgeable licensed Endocrinologist to provide care to patients at COPC Endocrinology Specialists located at 400 Altair Parkway Suite 3200 Westerville Ohio 43082.
The thriving practice has 4 Physicians 2 PACs and will soon add a NPBC to support the outpatient practice. Due to a recent vacancy an incoming Endocrinologist will acquire an established patient panel from the Physician that left the practice.
Office Hours: MThurs. 84:30 FRI. 83:30 pm. (Schedule may adjust upon hire).

Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating hormone disorders and other problems relating to the endocrine system.
Evaluate patient symptoms and medical histories diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans.
Support patients to deal with the physical limitations due to diseases stemming from problems with the endocrine system.
Analyze examine and investigate patients and their medical histories for signs and symptoms of hormonal imbalances.
Advise order and perform tests and interpret the results.
Discuss diagnoses with patients explaining treatment options and giving advice on medications lifestyle and dietary changes and other preventative measures.
Carry out followup appointments monitoring patient progress adjusting treatment plans and medications and updating patient records. COPC uses EPIC EHR.
Conduct research and studies on the endocrine system and its diseases disorders and conditions to develop new treatment techniques.
Remain up to date on current discoveries developments trends research and technology.
Opportunity to perform thyroid ultrasound/thyroid nodule biopsies
Requirements:
Doctor of Medicine (MD/DO) completion of a threeyear Internal Medicine residency Fellowship completion and Board certification in Internal Medicine Endocrinology.
A thorough understanding of the endocrine system and its diseases disorders and conditions.
Strong analytical abilities to provide accurate diagnoses.
Excellent decisionmaking interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational problemsolving and researching skills.
Proficiency with computers and medical equipment.
Ability to speak more than one language would be advantageous.
