Job Title: Automation Programmer
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Create control algorithms download source code to controllers manage system databases and implement an animated frontend graphical user interface.
- Experience in Multiple Systems integration getting different protocols to talk to each other and share information. One front end for multiple platforms.
- Executes project startups commissioning testing and troubleshooting of installed BAS controls and mechanical systems on assigned projects.
- Participates in the layout and coordination of network drops IP addresses and monitoring tools with customers IT Department personnel.
- Works with equipment vendors to coordinate communication protocols encryption and database requirements for integration to their systems.
- Runs semicomplex reports to analyze system operation works with project team to demonstrate system operation and verify consistency with the contracted scope of work.
- Participates in final inspection and testing assures customer acceptance and conducts training for end user customers on system operations.
- Provides Plans & Control System Documents to application engineering for asbuilt drawings using the latest digital technology.
Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements minimal experience computer skills required etc.
- 5 years of experience with Tridium Niagara AX/N4 and must be Niagara N4
- Knowledge of Direct Digital Controls LON LonWorks BACnet Tridium NiagaraAX and Niagara4.
- Knowledge in any of the following manufacturers is preferred: Honeywell WEBs JCI Facility Explorer Schneider Electric EcoStruxure and Niagara4 Delta Controls and Distech.
- Must have working knowledge of HVAC systems Unitary Systems to Central Plants.
- Must have good troubleshooting skills for determining HVAC vs. computer/controller issues.
- General understanding of IP networks.
- Knowledge of Windows Operating System.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Some flexibility to work overtime/weekends.

Compensation Range: $60.00 $75.00 per hour
