Description Senior Electrical Engineer Role Description:The Fort Worth TX office has a Senior Electrical Engineer opportunity. The role includes management of an Electrical team consisting of senior midlevel and entrylevel team members. The successful candidate will also be responsible for working with multidisciplinary design teams in the completion of studies development of plans and specifications for a broad range of projects. Included within the standard responsibilities are the completion of designs analyses planning and facilities assessments. The successful candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in the field of Electrical engineering related to building electrical systems and electrical infrastructure including low and mediumvoltage systems.Candidate must be a licensed P.E. NCEES registered and able to obtain licenses in all 50 States upon request. Electrical team project assignments and staffing forecasts
Develop training sessions targeted to the needs of the Electrical team
Lead performance management evaluations and goal setting for each Electrical team member
Design of site and facilities Electrical interior/exterior lighting and telecommunications systems
Design of low and mediumvoltage Electrical systems
Preparing design documents (e.g. plans and specifications) for Programming Schematic Design Design Development and Construction Documents
Providing construction phase project services
Perform calculations to support design work (short circuit voltage drop building loads etc.
Participate in Value Engineering exercises
Assist in preparation of project proposals in response to solicitations
Prepare technical reports
Some travel will be involved
Experience in managing or leading MEPrelated projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares and follows comprehensive Project Framework Instructions and proper work planning for a project. Ensures proper staff is assigned and utilized on their projects.
Reviews project reports and performance metrics to track project progress and budget. Leads successful projects (profit onschedule quality satisfied client).
Contributes to successful delivery and performance of projects
Cultivates relationships with clients and holds strong relationships with clients
Takes active steps in the pursuit of winning new business or additional opportunities with existing clients and may be responsible for a stated portion of office sales goal. Assists and/or leads team in pursuit of new work (repeat work SOQ and Proposals). Develops and/or executes project Win strategy.
Understands and follows QMS and Quality initiatives. Ensures quality control measures are being adhered to on projects and daily operations.
Actively engages and participates in the training coaching and mentoring of junior staff
Understands duties and responsibilities possesses necessary job knowledge and technical skills maintains job knowledge current.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
Licensed PE registration in Texas is preferred (other registrations attainable via NCEES)
Minimum 10 years of related experience
Extensive knowledge of National Electrical Code
Knowledge and experience with USACE UFC criteria and UFGS specifications
Healthcare municipal institutional transportation and industrial facilities design experience
Experience with highperformance sustainable systems design
Solar/PV system design experience is a plus
Experience with central utility plants emergency power systems.
Broad knowledge of building and energy codes (IBC IECC IFGC ASHRAE 90.1 and NFPA standards/codes
Experience in DesignBuild project delivery
Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency with EasyPower SKM or ETAP power systems analysis software
