Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with captioning videos.
Staff the front desk and assist students/visitors coming in with professional manner.
Assist new and incoming students with the admissions/enrollment process.
Answer phones greet students take messages and participate in department meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.
Advise new students on how to apply for admission how to read the class
schedule how to register through MyWNC and inform them on the
resources available to them on campus.
Call students for reminder calls.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have an interest in working with students and have a professional and caring attitude.
Requires good communication computer skills attention to detail and organizing skills.
Knowledgeable with the Microsoft applications
Selfmotivation problem solving skills and the ability to work well with others.
Prefer students who have completed at least one semester of college and ENG 100 or 101.
Taking a minimum of at least six credits.
Able to work independently.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Reliable.
Preferred Qualifications:

Compensation: $12.00 per hour
