Your Role:
Due to ongoing Walmart contracts for new stores multiple superintendent roles are available. As a Superintendent you will lead all onsite construction activities ensuring projects are completed on schedule within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing field and subcontractor personnel to ensure smooth project
- Managing the construction schedule including shortinterval production timelines
- Ordering materials and scheduling inspections as needed
- Ensuring compliance with project plans specifications and client change orders
- Maintaining positive relationships with clients contractors and suppliers
- Preparing daily reports safety records and ensuring final punch list completion
- Promoting and enforcing safe work practices onsite
- Ensuring compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements including stormwater guidelines
- Organizing and maintaining a clean and structured job site including the onsite office
- Leading weekly progress meetings with all trades
- Assisting the Project Manager in budget control and job cost reporting
- Reviewing subcontractor scopes and providing feedback before contract awards
- Establishing staging plans and managing site logistics
- Collaborating with the Project Manager to schedule critical path preconstruction meetings
- Ensuring quality work throughout all project phases
Your Background:
- Minimum of 5 years experience supervising and coordinating subcontractor trades
- Expertise in scheduling field supervision quality control safety and production in all construction phases
- Strong experience in groundup construction for Big Box Retail Grocery Stores and similar
- Walmart groundup experience is a significant advantage
- Familiarity with OSHA 30hour Construction Training (preferred or must obtain upon hire)
- SWPPP Certification Desired
- WRIKE and FieldWire Knowledge a plus
- Proficiency in MS Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
- Strong communication organizational and problemsolving skills
- Selfmotivated team player capable of multitasking in a fastpaced environment
- Positive attitude with the ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation; willingness to travel as needed
