You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis position is in Norcos Technology Department and the primary function is to support the development and of Norco Manufacturing Complex small capital projects. The department supports both Chemicals and Manufacturing (Refining) Assets. The projects typically range in size from $0.2 to $75 mil and typically this role is responsible for 5 to 20 projects depending on size and complexity of the projects.
One of the primary responsibilities is the development of the process design. For low complexity projects (i.e. equipment purchases etc. this position may have to obtain vendor quotes but will have limited if any responsibilities with purchasing and construction. For larger more complex projects this role is responsible developing the project premise document Process Flow diagrams H&MB Redlining P&IDs Basis of Design Document and validate the business case. Also in the IDENTIFY and ASSESS phase this role will work with project schedulers and estimators to develop the preliminary schedule showing major milestones and develop an order of magnitude estimate based on equipment count.
