Job Description

The Koch Internship Program(KIP)is a paid 10week experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers meaningful work experience at nonprofits all over the country tackling some of our nations most pressing challenges. Throughout your internship with a partner organization Stand Together Fellowships hosts virtual professional development sessions every Thursday from 15 pm ET wherein you will be mentored by seasoned professionals as you craft a capstone project on the topic that matters most to you. Interns will receive either a $5500 or $3300 stipend from Stand Together Fellowships depending on whether they are participating fulltime 40 hours/week) or parttime 28 hours/week).

CPC is seeking economics accounting or business students (or students with other majors who like numbers) to research state and local government finances in California. Youll assist our financial experts preparing both short articles and longer studies dealing with issues involving taxes spending and government debt.

Interns will be supervised by:

Marc Joffe: CPC senior fellow publicfinance expert former Moodys analyst former Reason and Cato analyst.

Mark Moses: CPC senior fellow publicfinance expert with 30 years in local government administration author of The Municipal Finance Crisis: A framework for understanding and fixing government budgeting (Palgrave Macmillan 2022.

This position if a full time remote position.

$5500 $5500 a year
