Who we are:

Hillside Animal Hospital in La Crosse WI is seeking a compassionate and dedicated new grad or experienced veterinarian to join our team! As an 100 small animal AAHAaccredited hospital with a longstanding reputation in the community we have been honored to receive multiple Best of La Crosse County awards in the veterinary clinic category!

Our standalone hospital nestled against a scenic bluff features four exam rooms a surgical suite digital xray (including dental) ultrasound electrocautery and inhouse Idexx analyzers. A 2024 renovation updated our exam rooms lobby flooring and cabinetry.

We prioritize worklife balance with flexible scheduling rotating Saturdays and minimal oncall duties (one night every three weeks 34 weekends per year). Our doctors see 1316 patients per day with 3040 minute appointments. Our team is highly collaborative and energetic with a strong focus on patient care and client service. We also know how to have fun together with activities such as baking competitions potlucks Secret Santa March Madness contests and even a highway cleanup challenge for the most unique item found!

We welcome new graduates and provide a structured mentorship program to help them succeed. Our program includes shadowing 1on1 surgical training extended appointment times and weekly case review meetings with the COS and associate veterinarians for the first two years. New graduates will have 24/7 access to senior DVMs for guidance during oncall shifts ensuring they feel supported as they grow in their careers.
