Workplace: 80331 MunichWhat to expect:
- Define and manage the electric drives test strategy contributing to the overall test strategy of the electricalpowertrain
- Plan define execute postprocess and evaluate tests for electric drives from single electric motors and inverters to integrated fullscale multiengine batterypowered systems
- Define and implement test setups for electric engine validation and verification
- Specify and plan test equipment and facility interfaces
- Lead the mechanical electrical and thermal layout implementation and validation of test setups
- Oversee all electricdrive test campaigns and serve as the main contact for external test and lab personnel
- Develop test plans procedures and reports ensuring traceability of results to design requirements
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on electric engine and system modeling SiL and HiL activities identifying synergies to reduce risk time and cost
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations for personnel equipment installations and environmental standards
What you bring along:
- MSc or equivalent degree in electrical engineering aerospace engineering automotive engineering or a related field; qualified electrician certification is a plus
- 5 years of experience in electric motor and/or inverter testing technology design production or modeling
- Strong background in electric drives ideally with experience in electric mobility
- Excellent knowledge of Verification & Validation (V&V) processes test management measurement principles and data acquisition
- Established network with electric drive test labs cell manufacturers and researchers is beneficial
- High motivation to establish and improve organizational structures and processes
- Selfreliant with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Targetoriented and driven work style with strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Fluent English is essential
- proficiency in German or other languages is an asset
