POSITION TITLE: Retail Specialist
AMERICAS Best Running Store in America in 2022 and 9 years in the Top 50 RidgefieldDarienBrookfield Running Company is a run specialty retailer that has been supporting the athletic community in the CT and NY area since 2014. Whether a competitive athlete or just need comfort our personalized service can help! We are looking for Retail Specialists who share our passion for Moving Forward!
Reporting: Reports directly to Owner
Position Expectations
Act as the Brand Ambassador by embracing the company culture to develop and cultivate strong relationships with clients and our communities
Drive sales by demonstrating extensive product knowledge and the ability to make appropriate suggestions to the customer
Maintain knowledge on current merchandise pricing and promotions to communicate to clients
Learn our fit process; Scan guests on the Superfeet Me3D scanner
Effectively use the POS system to collect accurate information and process transactions
Answer customer questions and concerns to resolve customer issues in a timely manner
Effectively communicate with customers and other stores teams
Participate in store events and promote programs
Work closely with Product Line Managers to ensure inventory accuracy
Effectively assist in maintaining organization cleanliness and stock storewide
Ensure that the Darien Running Company at Chelsea Piers Customer Experience meets the highest standards
Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in inventory management and store operations is a plus
A passion for running and an active lifestyle is preferred
Must be open to working evenings and weekends
Job Types: Fulltime Parttime
Pay: $18 $20 per hour (employee discounts and company incentives)
Expected hours: 15 32 hrs per week
Location: Chelsea Piers Stamford CT (Initial 2 week training at Darien Running Company in Darien CT)
