Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Assemble parts as specified on work orders approved by Engineering and Production Control based on customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Read work orders with attention to detail

Operate drill press and riveting machine

Use of small hand tools and measuring devices such as calipers & gauges

Monitor supplies and items used noting expiration dates customer specifications and safety policies

Perform routine maintenance and equipment inspection as required

Keep assembly shop area clean and free of debris

Serve as the backup and overflow support for paint as needed

Perform other duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand walk (on concrete surfaces) bend kneel crouch twist and lift

Must be able to lift/push/pull objects up to 35 pounds heavier objects require assistance

Ability to adhere to safety policies

Strong math skills and high accuracy when measuring

Detail Oriented

Must have working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing (basic oral instructions simple written memos and instructions)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED Required

13 years Previous Manufacturing Experience
