Job Description
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NECESSARY: Live work and grow your career on the coast. WWAY the ABC CBS and CW affiliate serving southeastern North Carolina is seeking a News Producer to join our team.
This is not just a job for someone looking to stack a show. We are looking for a show doctor who can craft engaging fastpaced newscasts that keep viewers informed and engaged. The ideal candidate will:
- Build wellpaced dynamic newscasts
- Write compelling teases that keep audiences tuned in
- Edit video to ensure highquality visually engaging content
- Contribute to digital platforms including the website and social media
- Strong storytelling and writing skills
- Ability to stay ahead of breaking news and developing stories
- Passion for journalism and a commitment to accuracy
- Positive professional attitude
- Experience with ENPS and Edius is a plus
