Job Description
We are seeking an independent business owner to teach aerobics classes to our members. Must have an established licensed business and personal injury and liability insurance. Do not apply online. Send your business profile to .
Major duties and their definitions (in order ofimportance):
- Conduct classes in an organized fun and most of all safe environment at all times.
- Maintain a relaxed professional image at all times.
- Implement classes that incorporate a warm up strength aerobic stretching/flexibility and cool down sections in each class.
- Present an appropriate fitness model to members.
- Responsible for safely monitoring class participants at all times.
- Teach class in the allotted time frame.
- Enforce rules and regulations.
- Understand class participants and their needs.
- Possess the ability to give participants safe regressions or progressions
- Lead a variety of group fitness classes to members.
- Make certain that all certifications necessary are uptodate i.e. CPR.
Minimum Qualifications
Required knowledge skills and abilities:
Encouraged to have CPR/AED certification.
Education:
Certified through a Nationally recognized program (AFAA ISSA ACE NASM)
Experience:
Must have experience in teaching group classes. Prefer individuals with training in land and water classes.
