Import coordinator

$25.00/hr. to start
Our client is on the search for a shipping import coordinator to look after their import shipping department.
You will occasionally be expected to assist in answering inbound calls create quotes sales orders etc.
You will also need to organize and host weekly operations meetings and monthly staff meetings
Solid computer skills are required specifically Office Suite.
A strong background in international shipping and in working with ocean bound freight is a must.

Our client is on the search for a shipping import coordinator to look after their import shipping department.
- You will be responsible for managing vendor contracts and all related documents
- You will ensure customs clearances are accurate and in order
- Manage contract deposits/invoice handling/final payments etc. with the companys accounting department
- Negotiate pricing and service levels with dedicated forwarders
- Match O/F invoices and inland freight
- Enter in COSTAR Ocean vendors POs and then enter in Received P/L
