The Role:
As a Private Client Tax Manager you will play a pivotalrole in the delivery of tax services to a diverse portfolio of private clients.You will work closely with partners and senior team members managing a rangeof tax compliance and advisory matters and acting as the main point of contactfor clients on all taxrelated queries. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of private clients including highnetworth individuals family offices and trusts.
- Provide highlevel tax advice on complex issues including income tax capital gains tax inheritance tax and estate planning.
- Oversee tax compliance and ensure the accurate preparation of tax returns and submissions.
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients including resolving any issues or inquiries.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff supporting their development.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships providing exceptional service.
- Assist with business development activities to attract new clients and opportunities.
- Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and market trends.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent with a strong background in private client tax.
- At least 35 years experience in private client tax with a proven track record in delivering tax compliance and advisory services.
- Excellent knowledge of UK tax laws especially in relation to highnetworth individuals and trusts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and build client relationships.
- Experience managing and mentoring junior staff is desirable.
- A proactive detailoriented and highly organized approach to work.
