Summary:Directly supports the store manager making sure the store runs efficiently and follows all laws and policies. While also helping to maximize sales and maintain asset control.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service leadership to all customers.
Acknowledge/Greet all customers that come into the store.
Ensure that all company policies are being followed.
Promote and maintains a clean and organized store appearance inside and out.
Efficiently process both cash and card transactions with integrity.
Ensure all merchandising and marketing programs are implemented properly. Including maintaining planogram integrity and appropriate sign placement.
Ensure foodservice products are fresh and appealing by rotating products appropriately and removing outofdate products.
Monitor store activities to ensure that transactions are taking place in the proper manner
Respond quickly to all emergencies for the safety and security of customers and employees and notifying the appropriate individuals.
Requirements:
Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds.
Able to stand for an entire shift.
Ability to periodically handle routine physical task such as climbing squatting kneeling pushing and/or pulling.
Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time. e.g. in the store outside and in the cooler.
Available to work carious shifts and days of the week as required by the retail environment including weekends evenings and busy periods/holidays.
*Retail experience is preferred.
