Salary Range: 6575k
Mini University Inc is conducting a national search for HOPE Center for Families Director who has skills in
the following areas. The scope of this role is intricate with a focus on community and family partnerships in alignment with the Hope Zone and Omega communities in addition to center director responsibilities.
Leadership and Management:
Oversee all daily operations including curriculum and assessment systems staff scheduling enrollment facility
operations maintenance and safety protocols.
Implement and maintain a governing board to align with program goals and broader strategic objectives with our
partners.
Ensure fiscal responsibility and make good decisions.
Use data driven information to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance program quality
and outcomes.
Stay current with quality rating systems to maintain high standards of excellence (DCY SUTQ NAEYC).
Knowledge of diverse populations and an understanding of various cultures.
Staff Supervision and Development:
Recruit hire train and evaluate teaching staff office staff and kitchen staff
Coach guide and support all staff and provide professional development opportunities to enhance performance
and job satisfaction.
Foster a positive work culture and promote teamwork and communication.
Family and Community Engagement:
Build and maintain positive relationships with families through effective communication parent education and
involvement opportunities.
Advocate for early childhood education and align with the programs mission and values within the community.
Build enrollment within the Hope Zone and be a part of community programs.
Participate in various groups and meetings to elevate the mission of the Hope Center.
In summary as director you play a vital role in creating a supportive learning environment for young children fostering their growth and development while also supporting the professional development and wellbeing of your team. You will engage families and community partners on a regular basis to promote the programs mission and goals.
Education Requirements:
Basic Requirements Candidate with B.A. or B.S. degree in Education or related field (i.e. administration
business management communication technology early childhood management or administration); valid
certification upon hire in Pediatric First Aid CPR Common Childhood Illnesses Child Abuse Recognition and
Prevention
Preferred Requirements Masters degree in related field.
