Job Description
AMHCs Childrens Crisis Stabilization Unit in Fort Fairfield is actively recruiting for FullTime Childrens Residential Counselors. The Childrens Residential Center provides 24/7 emergency support in the form of intervention and stabilization services. This is a 365dayperyear service. Candidates that will be considered for this position will work different shifts for AMHC to meet the needs of the youth and families. The chosen candidate is expected to demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity Compassion Excellence Service Collaboration and Respect to coworkers clients and community members.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Identify and develop Collaborative plans that include client and their guardians goals and demonstrates AMHCs focus on Service by identifying their needs.
- Demonstrate the Excellence in service by providing 24hour perday supervision supportive counseling and Respectful assistance to experiencing family and/or psychiatric crisis
- Educate clients in decisionmaking problemsolving and developing and utilizing coping skills with Compassion
- Demonstrate the Integrity of AMHC by collaborating with other services to create an aftercare plan

- This is a FullTime position

- A High School Diploma and 4 years of life/work experience required
- A degree in relatable field is preferred
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation are necessary
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and work evenings and weekends as needed
