Job Summary

Performs journeyman level work in the installation repair maintenance and testing of mechanical systems including pumps fans compressors and other associated components; and other duties as assigned. Maintain a flexible work schedule including being oncall. Must be willing to work occasional weekends or cover shifts. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintenance and repair of pumps fans compressors etc. Sets up rigging required to set pumps/fans. Utilizes precision instruments to ensure proper belts chains coupling bearings and other drive components. Performs preventative maintenance including lubrication inspections and replacement/adjustment to packing and seals. Other duties as assigned including assisting other trades to meet the operational need of the university.
