Job Description
Summary of Job Duties:
Provides oversight of member residential living arrangements including safety cleanliness and overall environment of recovery. Oversees medication room and documentation of member selfadministration of medications. Participates in member support and interventions.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Daily roving and inspection of apartments and member ADL support as needed.
- Completion and documentation of residential and Recovery Center fire drills and safety/apartment inspections along with any repairs/replacements needed
- Daily review of medication room and documentation of medication selfadministration and medication logs.
- Implement and document member interventions and progress relative to members treatment/recovery plan
- Provide training in and supervision of activities of daily living with members
- Participate in groups as assigned
- Provide individual support for assigned members
- Provide specific training to members relevant to their assessed skills deficits
- Conduct and document member face to face observation per P and P
- Prepare shift notes for assigned members
- Monitor and document selfadministration of medications by members
- Provide and document observed alcohol and drug screens per P and P
- Complete all trainings and continuing education requirement
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- The residential advisor will have at least a high school diploma
- Two years experience in therapeutic community and/or psychiatric care. Persons having a Bachelors Degree may have one year of experience.
- Completion of both Project Transition and external medication oversight trainings.
