Job Description
Hire Resolves client is looking for an experienced and capable Senior Accounts Manager to join their team in Port Elizabeth Eastern Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the accounting department including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
- Manage a team of accounting professionals providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial processes
- Prepare and analyse financial reports budgets and forecasts
- Communicate with external auditors tax consultants and other financial stakeholders
- Participate in financial planning and decisionmaking at the senior management level
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Professional accounting designation (CA CPA CMA) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial software applications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of the local business and regulatory environment in Port Elizabeth Eastern Cape
