Job Description
Exclusive to TPF Recruitment this is a fantasticopportunity for a Manager / Partner Designate to join a highly reputable firmof chartered accountants in Canterbury. This position offers fantastic internalprogression prospects with potential partnership / shares on offer soon forthe right candidate.
You will either be an experienced Manager / PartnerDesignate looking to become a Partner/ shareholder in the next couple of years.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but highlysuccessful firm of chartered accountants in a general practice capacity whereyou will manage a portfolio of general practice work across a range ofaccounts tax bookkeeping and VAT with the support of a small team.
This opportunity would especially suit somebody who is keento become a Partner/ shareholder in the future. The current Partner is lookingfor somebody to help drive the business forward as part of their succession.
As a Manager / Partner Designate in Canterbury you willbe responsible for:
- Oversee your own client portfolio.
- Provide general OMB client accounts and tax advice and planning.
- Review and prepare Ltd company sole trader and partnership accounts.
- Review and prepare corporation tax computation calculations.
- Reviewing VAT returns.
- Preparing and presenting management accounts to clients.
- Be involved in the marketing of the practice.
- Be involved in the strategic direction of the practices future.
- Oversee and support junior staff members and trainees.
Requirements
- You will be ACA/ ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice.
- You will have worked as either a Manager or senior Manager within a practice environment and have handson experience of daily duties.
- Experience in client management people management or business development would be advantageous.
