About Us:EJ Equipment is a growing company dedicated to providing bestinclass service to our customers. We are looking for a motivated and organized Office Assistant to join our team and help us maintain a productive and efficient office environment.

Job Summary:The Office Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office. This role involves managing phone and IT systems assisting with HR administration and supporting various office tasks. The ideal candidate is a proactive problemsolver with excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and operate the office phone system.
  • Provide support for IT systems troubleshooting basic issues and coordinating with IT support as needed.
  • Assist with HR administration tasks including maintaining employee records and coordinating onboarding processes.
  • Create and edit presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) for various administrative tasks.
  • Make collection calls to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Provide backup support on the phone ensuring calls are answered promptly and professionally.
  • Deliver excellent customer service addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
  • Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Customeroriented mindset with a focus on delivering highquality service.
