Come work as Physician with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

Adanac Park Lodge (APL) is a regional Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Long Term Care (LTC) program specializing in providing care to younger adults 1965 years) with complex health and behavioral needs. APLs unique population of focus is younger adults who have concurrent MH SU and/or ABI; and who often have coexisting physical developmental and/or chronic health conditions. Clients who may be considered for admission are between19 and 65 year of age. Residents may reside at APL for as long as they require the specialized services / environment to meet their care needs up to an including end of life care. APL has a diverse interdisciplinary team who collaborate with residents and families in their care and on meaningful goals and engagement. In accordance with the vision and values of the organization APLs approaches & principles include; Person Centered Care; Trauma Informed Care; Recovery in MH; and Community Engagement.

Qualifications

Education Licensing & Experience:

  • Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Mandatory
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Mandatory
